School management for BSEB schools that respects your budget.

Around 28 lakh students sat the 2026 BSEB matric and intermediate exams — one of India's largest state boards. Most of its private schools still run fees on paper and re-type the same student data into every government portal. Acadovia fixes exactly that, at ₹10 per student per month.

What should school management software do for a Bihar Board school?

A BSEB school's office carries a double load: the school's own running — fees in cash and UPI, attendance, report cards — and the government's asks, from the UDISE+ return and APAAR IDs to portal entries where every student's name, parentage and bank-linked details must be typed correctly, again, under deadline. Software should hold one clean roster and make both loads lighter: collect fees on one ledger, and produce accurate data for every filing instead of another round of re-typing.

That is what Acadovia does. Fee collection works with the school's own UPI QR code and UTR verification — no payment gateway taking a cut of fee money — alongside cash and cheque on the same ledger. The UDISE+ return generates from the roster in the portal's format, and an APAAR generator covers students missing an ID. It runs on everyday Android phones and ordinary internet, because that is the reality of a working school in Bihar.

What does Acadovia cover for a BSEB school?

These come standard with every Acadovia school — there is no separate "Bihar Board module" to buy:

Acadovia prepares files; your office reviews and uploads them on the official portal. Neither UDISE+ nor Bihar's education portals offer a public API to school software, so any "automatic sync" claim — from anyone — deserves scepticism.

The fee math for a Bihar school

Acadovia costs ₹10 per active student per month (ex-GST) after a free first month — every module included, no setup fee, no annual lock-in. A 250-student school pays ₹2,500 a month and can stop any month. Regional vendors sell flat annual licences — some genuinely cheap, some with per-student add-ons that surface later; the flat plans published by bigger national vendors start around ₹50,000 a year regardless of your strength. Our pricing page lays the comparison out with sources, including the cheap ones.

How do notices reach parents?

Honestly, since this is where ERP brochures overpromise: notices are delivered in-app — parents see them in the parent portal — and by email, which went live in July 2026 as an opt-in per user. WhatsApp and SMS delivery are on our roadmap and not live today. If a vendor tells you their WhatsApp notices are "included", ask to see the per-message cost in the contract — WhatsApp Business messaging is metered, and that cost lands somewhere.

Questions Bihar Board schools ask us

Is Acadovia approved by the Bihar Board (BSEB)?
No — BSEB recognises schools, not software, and it does not approve or certify management systems. Any vendor claiming a board approval is telling you something about themselves. Judge software on what you can verify: a clean roster, a correct UDISE+ file, and a price your fee structure can carry.
Does Acadovia sync with Medhasoft or other Bihar government portals?
No. Medhasoft and the BSEB portals have no public API for school software, so treat any "automatic sync" claim with scepticism. What Acadovia does: one accurate roster holding the details these portals ask for — name, parentage, Aadhaar-linked fields, bank-relevant demographics — exportable as CSV anytime, so your office enters portal data from clean records instead of paper registers.
Is Acadovia available in Hindi?
The app itself is in English today. Our support team works in Hindi and English — on email and during onboarding — and we help your office get set up in the language they are comfortable in. If a Hindi interface matters to your school, tell us; it genuinely shapes our roadmap.
Will it work on our school's internet and phones?
Yes — that constraint is designed in. Acadovia is a light web app that runs on everyday Android phones and ordinary school internet; teachers mark attendance from their own phones, and the office needs nothing beyond a browser. Data lives on Indian servers (AWS Mumbai) with daily backups.
