Things principals always ask.

Is GST extra?
Yes, 18% GST is charged on top of the listed price. Invoicing is in your school’s legal name and supports GSTIN entry.
What counts as a “student”?
Active students on your roll on the 1st of each month. Withdrawn or graduated students don’t count, and you can adjust mid-month.
Are teachers, parents and staff counted?
No. Teachers, parents, and admin staff are unlimited and free. You only pay per active student.
When does the free tier end?
The Starter plan is free up to 100 students — forever. Once you cross 100 active students you move to Standard and start paying ₹10 per active student per month.
How does data migration work?
For Standard and Enterprise customers, our onboarding team ingests your existing Excel sheets, fee books, or previous ERP. Typical migration is 2-3 weeks, no school downtime.
Can we switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Standard is billed monthly, so if your roll changes, your bill changes the next month. No long lock-ins.
Do you charge for the parent or student apps?
Never. They’re part of every plan. Acadovia is a web app, so there’s no app store fee or install friction either.
What about data residency & DPDP?
All data is hosted in Mumbai (AWS ap-south-1) and fully compliant with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Can we cancel?
Yes, any month, with 30 days’ notice. We export all your data in CSV and PDF — your school is never locked in.
