Why re-typing happens
UDISE+, board portals, scholarship forms and APAAR-related work often want the same fields in slightly different shapes. When the school’s system of record is a pile of Excel sheets, every deadline becomes a re-entry project — and typos become a principal’s problem.
What “UDISE+ ready” can honestly mean
Neither UDISE+ nor most board portals offer a public API for third-party school ERPs. So nobody can truthfully promise “one-click direct submission” as a universal feature. The honest claim is:
- One clean roster with the fields portals ask for.
- Exports in the formats offices actually upload.
- Less re-typing, more review.
If a salesperson says “we push straight into the government portal automatically,” ask them to demonstrate it on a live portal in front of you — not a slide.
